For car, motorcycle, and rental car users

Traffic regulations will be enforced on the San'yo Expressway and around Hiroshima Airport from Thursday, May 18 to Monday, May 22, 2023, due to the G7 Hiroshima Summit. The roads will be closed during the time when the heads of state and others are traveling.
Parking at Hiroshima Airport will be available as usual, but there is a possibility that some areas may be regulated due to requests from the police or other authorities. We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation.
In addition, due to traffic regulations on the San'yo Expressway, traffic will be concentrated on ordinary roads, which will serve as detour routes, and there is a possibility that traffic jams may occur. To avoid missing your flight, please consider going to the airport earlier or using alternative transportation (the local bus from Shiraichi Station, JR San-yō Line).

For access bus and JR users

Due to traffic regulations on the San'yo Expressway and around Hiroshima Airport, all limousine buses between Hiroshima, Kure, Saijo, Takehara, Fukuyama and Hiroshima Airport will be cancelled. Please use the local bus between Shiraichi Station (JR San-yō Line) and Hiroshima Airport to get from each location to Hiroshima Airport and vice versa. From Thursday, May 18 to Monday, May 22, temporary bus services between Shiraichi Station and Hiroshima Airport will be available in accordance with the arrival times of JR San-yō Line and airline flights. The schedule of the temporary bus services will be announced on the Hiroshima Airport website as soon as it becomes available.
Limousine buses between Mihara Station and Hiroshima Airport will be also available from the Fukuyama, Onomichi, and Mihara areas, but please note that there are no temporary bus services available.
