Porcelain Mural

The mural is based on a painting by Ikuo Hirayama, an artist who was awarded the Order of Culture. He was born in the town of Setoda located on the Shimanami Kaido Expressway. The magnificent portrayal of the Itsukushima Shrine (12 meters wide and 2.8 meters high) is absolutely breathtaking. This is also a perfect meeting spot.

This is a time-limited exhibition of some of the works included in the "World Cultural Heritage - Itsukushima Shrine" collection presented as symbolic pièce montées at the Hiroshima Confectionery Fair in 2013.

This is an aviation-themed exhibition that includes a full-scale model of a jet engine installed in various types of aircraft landing at Hiroshima Airport. There is also a practical learning corner that explains in simple terms how airplanes actually work.
