What is Shiraichi Route?

You can take not only limousine buses but also Shiraichi Route (combination of JR Sanyo Main Line and the shuttle bus) from / to Hiroshima Airport.
Shuttle buses run between Hiroshima Airport and JR Shiraichi Station (the closest JR station of Hiroshima Airport) and connect them in 15 minutes.
This route is less affected by congestion on the Sanyo Expressway.

①　Barrier-Free in JR Shiraichi Station and Shuttle Bus Service
From January 2016, JR Shiraichi Station has a new overpass with an elevator.
Also, from March 2016, the shuttle buses have low-floor buses.

②　For JR lines, “JAPAN RAIL PASS” and “JR-WEST RAIL PASS” are available!

For JR lines, you can use “JAPAN RAIL PASS” and “JR-WEST RAIL PASS”.
When you go from Hiroshima Airport, you can use this route to go to Hiroshima Station, where you can exchange your voucher with the pass.
When you come back to Hiroshima Airport, you can combine JR Sanyo Main Line (to Shiraichi) and the shuttle bus to get to the airport more reasonably.

〈notes〉
※”JAPAN RAIL PASS” and “JR-WEST RAIL PASS” are NOT AVAILABLE for the shuttle bus.
※You need to exchange your voucher to the pass at Hiroshima Station first.
(You cannot take JR lines with vouchers.)
